Tu Be With You

Where children, teens, adults, and families realize, reflect, and connect with the resources already within them.

My Psychotherapy Approach

I believe therapy isn’t about fitting you into a mold.
It’s about being with you exactly where you are.

I offer psychotherapy and counseling for children, adolescents, adults, and families in Fremont, California. My work centers on presence, attunement, and helping you experience life in a way that feels authentic, grounded, and sustainable.

Therapy That Meets You Where You Are

In our sessions, we focus on what’s happening right now—your emotions, body sensations, thoughts, and lived experience. I practice experiential psychotherapy, meaning therapy is active, collaborative, and responsive rather than scripted or rigid.

Therapy with me is:

  • Relational and attuned

  • Experiential and body-aware

  • Creative and playful when helpful

  • Grounded in evidence-based practice

Together, we explore patterns as they emerge, and create meaningful change that extends beyond the therapy room.

Child Counseling - Play Therapy - Support for Families

As a Child Counselor and Play Therapist, I believe deeply in the healing power of play. Play is the natural language of children—and a primary way they communicate emotions, needs, and experiences that may be difficult to express with words.

In play therapy, children are given the freedom to explore, create, and express themselves in ways that feel safe and empowering. Through play, children practice problem-solving, emotional regulation, and relationship skills that support real-world growth.

I also work closely with parents and caregivers through parent consultations to support understanding, connection, and consistency across home and therapy.

Therapy for Adults

For adults, I offer psychotherapy that supports:

  • Anxiety and overwhelm

  • Life transitions and identity shifts

  • Trauma and stress-related patterns

  • Emotional regulation and self-trust

  • Personal growth and deeper self-understanding

Even as adults, we carry younger parts of ourselves. My work honors both your present-day strengths and the parts of you that may still be seeking safety, expression, or healing.

Mission

To be with you as you grow, heal, and discover what you need.

My mission is to create a safe, compassionate space where your story can unfold. I listen with curiosity, attune to what is present, and help bring awareness to patterns shaped by past experiences—so new possibilities for healing and change can emerge.

Goal

To support children, families, and adults in building connection, flexibility, and resilience.

My goal is to help you move forward in ways that feel meaningful and aligned. With attention to your strengths, inner resources, and unique path, we work together to cultivate self-trust, flexibility, and lasting change.

From the Ground Up: Body-Centered

“But once I had brains, and a heart also; so, having tried them both, I should much rather have a heart.”
— L. Frank Baum, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz

My work is grounded in the understanding that the body holds wisdom—through sensations, emotions, and experiences that words alone cannot reach. By gently tuning into these deeper layers, therapy becomes more embodied, authentic, and transformative.

In our work together, we honor mind and body, allowing the heart to guide the process of healing, connection, and self-discovery.

Therapeutic Process

Tuning In

We begin by noticing what is already happening. Together, we gently turn attention toward thoughts, emotions, sensations, images, and meanings that arise in the moment. As awareness settles, understanding often begins to shift on its own—without force or effort.

By allowing experience to unfold naturally, new perspectives and possibilities can emerge in ways that feel organic and respectful of your inner timing.

Empathy

Change happens most easily when you feel safe, understood, and accompanied. Whether you are moving through growth or sitting with uncertainty, I offer steady presence, attunement, and care.

Through relationship, play, and shared moments of understanding, empathy becomes a powerful force—supporting ease, connection, and the capacity to explore what matters most to you.

Alignment

Our work unfolds collaboratively. We attune to what feels meaningful, useful, and supportive for you, allowing therapy to follow your values, needs, and intentions rather than a predetermined agenda.

As we align, insight and change often arise indirectly—through curiosity, reflection, and moments of felt understanding—at a pace that feels right for you.

Movement

Change is supported through experience. Together, we engage in approaches that invite gentle shifts in perception, emotion, and response. These may include imaginative exploration, play, focused attention, or embodied experiences that help new patterns take shape.

Movement is not forced. It unfolds as readiness emerges—supporting integration, flexibility, and lasting change across different areas of life.

Often, the most meaningful change happens not by trying harder, but by allowing something new to become possible.

You are in Control.
